  1. I enjoyed your comments. I read this article when it came out in Newsweek and found it facinating! Your conversation just made me think how opposition in all things is sooo true. No question the pill increased promiscuety…I wouldnt call it a coincidence at all…just look how far weve come, before the pill, most people would look at the person thier sleeping with at least as a potential co-parent…now I dont think it is even a passing thought! They might worry about STDs but not fathering/giving birth! Theres no way people were that casual before the pill!
    Then on the other side…the choices it gives women can be an incredible blessing to thier emotional, physical and financial well being. Im so happy to live in the world I do- to have the choice…we are some lucky, empowered women!
